Mental Health and Addictions: From Individual Suffering to Population-Level Action – Collège de France

Starting in December, Maria MELCHIOR will lead a teaching cycle dedicated to mental health and addictions, entitled:
“Mental Health and Addictions: From Individual Suffering to Population-Level Action”, at the Collège de France.

The inaugural lecture, titled “Mental Health and Addictions: From the Intimate to the Population Level”, will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Marguerite-de-Navarre Amphitheatre (Marcelin-Berthelot site).
Access is free, subject to available seating.

Fabienne EL KHOURY will speak on January 19, 2026, on “Violence Against Girls and Women: The Continuum and Its Effects on Mental Health”.

Pierre CHAUVIN will present on February 2, 2026, on “Mental Health and Addictions Among People in Severe Precarity: Research With Homeless Individuals”.

Other seminars, led by speakers from various disciplines, will also take place.

All sessions are open to anyone interested.
