On 29 September, the NEMESIS team organized the “Ma Terre en 180 minutes” workshop, in collaboration with Inserm and thanks to the contribution of Amandine Leduc and Léa Breton, as part of the HWaves-Neuro project, funded by Climate Change and Health INSERM Booster programme.
“Ma Terre en 180 minutes” is a collaborative workshop developed within the academic community to help participants understand their carbon footprint and collectively explore practical scenarios for reducing it. Through an interactive and participatory approach, the workshop encourages reflection on the environmental impact of our everyday activities and the choices we can make to reduce it.
This initiative represents an important first step towards raising awareness across the institute of the energy consumption and environmental footprint of our research activities. By encouraging collective reflection and identifying opportunities for change, we aim to foster a more sustainable research environment and integrate environmental considerations into our scientific practices.
The workshop is part of a broader effort to promote awareness and engagement around the environmental impact of research, with the ambition of building a more energy-conscious and environmentally responsible institute.
