One Health Summit in Lyon
Earlier this week, and over two days, was held the One Health Summit in Lyon, bringing together leaders from international organizations, heads of state and government, civil society representatives, businesses and scientists, among others. The aim was to present recommendations to accelerate the implementation of the One Health approach, through four operational pillars (emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, pollution, and sustainable food systems) and two cross-cutting themes (data-related issues, and the importance of the humanities and social sciences). IPLESP, represented by Raphaëlle Métras, along with Sorbonne University ASU-GHI were present to attend this one-of-a-kind event of global importance.
